Jarvis Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 October 2026

Who this applies to

Jarvis is a private, self-hosted personal assistant. It is used only by the person who runs it, with that person's own accounts. No one else's data is collected, and Jarvis is not offered to the public.

What Google information Jarvis uses

Only after the owner connects an account through Google's sign-in screen, Jarvis may use:

How it is used

This information is used only to provide Jarvis's features to the same person whose account it is, when that person asks. It is not sold, not used for advertising, and not shared with anyone else, except as described below.

To understand the owner's requests, Jarvis sends the relevant text, which can include parts of an email or calendar event, to an AI model through the owner's own AI subscription. That text is used only to answer the owner's request. Jarvis does not use Google user data to develop, improve or train general-purpose AI models.

Where it is kept

Jarvis runs on the owner's own computer. Its records and Google sign-in credentials are kept there, in Jarvis's own protected storage. Nothing is stored on this website, and there is no separate server that collects this information.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Jarvis's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Keeping or removing access

The owner can disconnect Google Calendar or Gmail inside Jarvis at any time, and can also remove Jarvis's access from the Google account's security settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Information Jarvis keeps on the owner's computer stays there until the owner deletes it.
